Terms of sale

1. Scope

These terms of sale apply to paid Affixe subscriptions taken out with CHAFFY LABS by a kennel (the "Customer"), in addition to the terms of use.

Subscriptions are reserved for professionals, as breeding and selling animals is a professional activity. By subscribing, the Customer declares that they are acting for professional purposes.

2. Plans and prices

What each plan includes (Discovery, free; Breeder; Kennel+) and its prices are described on the Pricing page and in the dashboard at the time of subscription. Prices are in euros, including taxes; the applicable VAT is calculated from the billing address.

CHAFFY LABS may change its prices; a change only applies to an ongoing subscription at its next renewal, after informing the Customer at least 30 days in advance.

3. Subscription and payment

The subscription is taken out from the dashboard by the kennel's owner. Payment is by card through Stripe, a payment provider; CHAFFY LABS never has access to card details. Promotion codes apply under the conditions announced with each code.

The subscription is paid in advance, for a month or a year depending on the option chosen. An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available from the dashboard.

4. Term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription runs for the chosen period (monthly or yearly) and renews automatically for the same period. The Customer can cancel at any time from the dashboard: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current, already paid period, which is not refunded.

When the subscription ends, the kennel returns to the Discovery plan. Its content is kept; features beyond that plan become unavailable until a new subscription.

5. Changing plans

The Customer can change plans at any time. The amount due is adjusted pro rata for the remaining period, under the conditions shown at the time of the change.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails, it is retried and the Customer is asked to update their payment method; the plan stays active during this period. If payment does not go through, the subscription ends and the kennel returns to the Discovery plan.

In accordance with article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code, any late payment incurs penalties at three times the legal interest rate, plus a fixed €40 recovery fee.

7. Liability

CHAFFY LABS is bound by a best-efforts obligation. Its total liability is limited to the amounts paid by the Customer in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it. It is not liable for indirect damage, including loss of revenue or customers.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. The French version prevails. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute is brought before the competent courts of Paris.
